CRM software provider Reapit, has teamed up with Agency Mentors to provide training programmes for agents.
Reapit says its agent customers who received its value reports can now get training to maximise use of the database.
The Agency Mentors team includes Kate Faulkner, one of the UK’s leading experts on buy to let investment and landlords, Susie Crolla - managing director and owner of the Guild of Letting & Management and the Letting Training Centre - and Adam Walke, who has worked in property for 35 years including being managing director of Norwich Union Estate Agents.
“We’re delighted to team up with Reapit. Our aims are very much aligned in terms of delivering measurable and accountable solutions to estate agents” says Agency Mentors director Iain White.
Meanwhile The Property Ombudsman scheme has given its backing to a toolkit launched by The National Approved Letting Scheme to help local authorities tackle rogue letting agents.
Last year, the National Trading Standards Estate Agency Team launched a similar toolkit for the sales market “so it is good to see that local authorities will now have step-by-step guidance of the legalities and requirements for regulating letting agents” says TPO Katrine Sporle.
“There is a small minority of agents who still don’t comply with current legislation, so having these tools in place to enforce requirements effectively will help to tackle rogue activity within the industry” she says.
