The largest estate agency in Wales is to extend its regional footprint after acquiring an independent firm.
Peter Alan has purchased 26-year-old agency Jon Coombes, which covers the Vale of Glamorgan.
The acquired firm will soon trade under the Peter Alan brand and all staff have been retained.
Peter Alan, which has been part of the Connells Group since July 2014, now has 26 branches and says it is still on the acquisition trail.
"This acquisition is a good fit for our expansion plans and perfectly complements our current branch network," says Andrew Barry, Peter Alan's managing director.
"We are delighted to welcome Jon Coombes into Peter Alan and look forward to announcing further acquisitions shortly which are currently in our pipeline."
Jon Coombes, founder of the acquired business, says he has decided to retire after 26 years of successful trading.
"I have chosen Peter Alan and pa black as they are key players in the property industry and will enhance our proposition with additional benefits and services for current and new clients," he says.
