Two high profile property firms have strengthened their land and new homes teams in order to cope with growing demand in the sector.
Connells Group has announced the appointments of 15 professionals to its land and new homes division, while Beresfords has made several promotions and recruited two new members of staff.
Both firms say they've expanded the teams to enhance their current offerings and develop their land and new homes services in the future.
As the property market adjusts to a post-Brexit landscape, confidence is returning among land owners and developers, according to Roger Barrett, Connells Group's Land Director.
"Demand for new homes inevitably remains high due to the nationwide shortage of homes, following a brief period of cautiousness," he says.
Connells Group's appointments come across several of its best-known brands, including Sequence, Barnard Marcus and Fox & Sons.
Beresfords, meanwhile, which operates across Essex and Greater London, reports that it has sold almost £100 million worth of new homes in the past 12 months.
The firm's director, Terry Holmes, says that Beresfords has an average of 14 buyers chasing each property, rising to 23 in some areas of Essex.
