It’s a public relations dream come true.
The new Sudbury branch of the East Coast independent agency Fenn Wright has secured a memorable first sale with a deal between - you guessed it - a Mrs Fenn and Mrs Wright.
The sale of the period detached cottage in Sudbury is described as by the firm as “a charming coincidence that will go down in Fenn Wright history.”
The buyer is Sharon Wright from Long Melford. “What are the odds? This must be a good omen! I’m delighted to have exchanged on the property and I’m looking forward to moving in and making myself at home” she says.
The vendor is Emma Fenn from Sudbury who says: “What a lovely coincidence! I’ve spent many happy years here and I’m certain Mrs Wright will also have many enjoyable years in the house.”
Agency partner Graham Buxton says he was stunned by the coincidence.
“When we sat down to put the information into our sales book, we noticed the names of the purchaser and vendor matched with Fenn Wright. It’s such a coincidence, but we’re delighted to be able to mark the first sale at our Sudbury branch with such a memorable story” he says.
