A new free-to-list portal is to be launched - and it is to be ‘voice led’.
The PropTech firm Triplerr says it is trying to address what it claims is a problem in UK agency that some 28 per cent of customers say they don’t get a reply or call back when enquiring about properties on the telephone.
Another 20 per cent claim, according to Triplerr, that they don’t trust agents and think portals are ‘frustrating’ and a ‘waste of time’.
Now Triplerr - already active in Dubai and New York - is to launch a free-to-list portal supported by a remote fleet of ‘super agents’ that call and qualify every single enquiry made within five minutes.
The five minute timescale is key to success, says the company, because this maximises the chance of converting leads into sales.
Audio recordings of each call are then available for the relevant agents to listen to and follow up with or pass on to others with appropriate properties.
Triplerr will shortly go live in London and the company has launched a six-figure crowdfunding campaign to raise funds for further technology and marketing.
Backers include Ben Elliott of high-end property firm Quintessentially and Baroness Kate Rock on its board.
“Having proven the Triplerr technology works in the New York and Dubai we are now incredibly excited to bring it to the UK market” says company founder and chief executive Sam Singh.
“The ‘voice lead’ concept we’ve invented more than doubles the amount of information gathered by online property search portals, to help agents follow up with the customers they’re most able to help with their search.
“Our research shows that nearly half of property hunters in the UK would rather speak to a person about their house hunt and so our tech will help agents deliver a better quality of service for customers and generate more revenue themselves.”
