The emerging Proptech platform BestAgent has announced its latest partnership - this one is with sales progression company ViewMyChain.
BestAgent, run by property software entrepreneur Charlie Wright, aims to launch fully later this year and provide an ‘open platform’ which would allow smaller agencies to access technology from a range of majore industry suppliers at minimal cost.
ViewMyChain launched in 2016 and has already been tested by around 100 agencies and 1,000-plus branches.
It breaks the chain into a series of standard categories - Sold SSTC; Contracts Underway; Legal Searches Ordered, legal Searches Expected, Mortgage Funding, Property Exchange and Property Completion - but this list of ‘milestones’ can be customised by participating estate agents.
These milestones can be viewed by agents and customers to review sales progress.
Wright says: “The sales progression stage of a home sale transaction is arguably the most frustrating and expensive place for a deal to fall through, for all parties. View My Chain directly improves this process, so we’re excited to welcome another stand-out supplier as our partner.”
