An online estate agency has changed the wording of a listing on Rightmove, Zoopla and on its own website after a complaint was filed to the Advertising Standards Authority.
London-based Exclusive Property Sales and Consultants describes itself on its website as “the online agent of choice.”
It sells residential and commercial property and land, chiefly aimed at investors.
The ASA received a compaint about its description of an advertisement for various plots of land in the Home Counties.
The complainant suggested the wording was misleading and failed to make it clear that the land was accessible via the land of a third party.
A spokeswoman for the ASA says the agency agreed to amend the wording and the complaint was deemed to have been informally resolved.

Independent Estate Agents should not feel like they have to use such companies. We work with lots of small independent agencies who benefit greatly by having their own digital marketing and control over their business.
