Housebuilder launches webinar to help first-time buyers

Representatives from homebuilder Barratt and Rightmove are to share tips on how first-time buyers can get on the property ladder in London.

Barratt London is hosting a webinar this week with a panel of property experts.

It includes financial content creator Peter Komolafe, Rightmove area director Callum Dingle, CBRE research expert Michael McGill and group sales and marketing director at Barratt Developments, Steve Mariner. 

Hosted by Barratt London’s senior marketing manager Rose Pullan, the discussion will cover a range of prevalent topics including available schemes for first time buyers, a current market overview, property hotspots and the upcoming challenges facing prospective buyers. 

Attendees will be given the opportunity to engage with the panel and ask the specialists their pressing questions.

It comes as the Help to Buy scheme ended last month, seen by some as a vital way to support first-time buyers.

Mariner said: "During the duration of Help to Buy, we were able to help over 3,330 first time buyers take their step on to the property ladder across the capital. 

“While the Government scheme has ended, our mission to provide buyers the confidence they need to begin their home ownership journey has not. Our first time buyer webinar is a reminder that, although the environment has changed, it is still possible to make the transition from renter to homeowner.”
