Regional estate agent Miles & Barr is showing its support for the home nations at this month’s World Cup with free footballs each time a property owner books a valuation.
Its 13 sales and lettings offices will be handing out up to 2,000 mini footballs between now and 18 December.
The Kent-based firm has also launched a football-themed marketing and advertising campaign.
Its tactics include a letterbox tout in the form of a World Cup fixture list that will be door-dropped to more than 100,000 households across the 13 towns it operates in
There is also a social media advertising campaign on Facebook and Instagram using a mixture of targeted carousel and video adverts.
There is plenty of controversy around both holding a World Cup in October and choosing a host nation that has a questionable human rights track record and appears less than welcoming for LGBTQ+ fans.
Some may say this should have been raised 10 years ago when the decision was made.
