Agent pens book on vendor viewing mishaps

Many agents will have funny anecdotes about memorable viewings and one has decided to turn them into a book.

Adam Bailey, who describes himself as an estate agent, has turned his own four decades of experience - including some very peculiar viewings and dealings with vendors - into a book.

The book, released by Crestwell Publishing, has the rather long title of, SOLD!: And the drunken, drug dealing, drug taking, prostituting, sex addicted, sex offending, conning, dirty, filthy, disgusting, weird vendors and tenants moved on to pastures new! 

It includes anecdotes of when Bailey “found a seller fast asleep in his armchair naked from the waist down with his penis in his hand and with a porn movie playing on the television and a box of tissues next to him on a viewing.”

Another includes seeing a gentleman sat wide awake in his armchair in his underpants playing a harmonica.

He has also allegedly encountered drug gangs, cannabis factories and been mistaken for a male stripper.

The publisher insists that all these stories are true.

The blurb for the Amazon listing of the book said: “There’s an old saying that everyone's got a book in them, but it is just that, a saying, because in reality most people would struggle to write a few pages let alone write a complete book and get it published.
