The London-based agency has a strong track record of supporting art institutions and community events across the capital, having supported the Royal Academy of Arts and Royal Philharmonic Orchestra for a number of years, as well as Chestertons Polo in the Park, London Welsh Rugby Club and Chelsea Physic Garden, amongst others.
The National Portrait Gallery re-opened in June after a three-year, £40m renovation, while the London Art Fair – which has been held annually since 1989 - will be held at London’s Business Design Centre in Islington between 17-21 January.
Giles Milner, Chestertons’ chief marketing officer, said “We are always looking at ways in which we can help London institutions flourish and love giving our clients and staff access to some of the superb events and experiences that the city has to offer.
“We know that the National Portrait Gallery is a firm favourite for many Londoners and so are very excited to start working closely with them and give our clients access to some of the exhibitions that are in the pipeline. We supported the London Art Fair for the first time this year and, following excellent feedback from our clients, are very happy to be able to continue our sponsorship.”
DM & Co. Homes: DM & Co. Homes has teamed up with local businesses to support Wythall Animal Sanctuary.
Managing director Dominic Murphy has pledged that for the month of October, DM & Co. Homes will donate £25 for every new instruction the firm with offices in Solihull and Dorridge receives.
Dominic said: “Wythall Animal Sanctuary has been helping to rescue, look after and rehome pets and all kinds of animals for over 50 years.”
The sanctuary moved to its current site in 1963 after being founded by Dave and Kath Davies, who first rescued a horse that was found to be pregnant. They devoted their lives to caring for animals in need.
Now the focus is primarily on dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs, although they do have two resident ponies.
Now DM & Co. Homes has partnered with other local businesses such as M&G Movers and Storers who are also fund raising for the sanctuary and supporting the charity.
Georgia Smith and Amy Carstairs, staff members from DM & Co. Homes, visited the sanctuary to see for themselves the invaluable work carried out there.
Georgia said: “It was really educational to see the love and care that goes into looking after and hopefully rehoming all the animals at Wythall Animal Sanctuary, and it’s impossible not to be moved by the devotion of all the staff there.”
Dominic added: “The cost of living, rising energy prices and general day-to-day running costs have all hit Wythall Animal Sanctury hard, and they are in desperate need of all of our support.
“We are very pleased to join with local businesses such as M&G Movers and Storers in supporting the sanctuary, and we would encourage everyone who can to join in and do their bit.
“Every little helps, and it is a marvellous cause.”
