Self-employed estate agency platform iad has launched in Florida.
The firm described it as another key expansion effort to compliment its recent arrival on the UK market.
iad Florida will be led by US real estate veteran Chris Pflueger, who takes the role of managing director after serving as chief development officer for We Insure Group.
Florida marks the European firm’s first foray into the North American market where single-family homes lead with 287,352 selling in 2022 at an average price of $562,442.
Meanwhile, condos and townhouses saw 125,494 transactions for a combined value of $55.9bn.
Clement Delpirou, iad president, said: “iad Florida is key to our expansion as one of the most robust real estate markets in the United States. We are excited to bring our spirit of collaboration and innovation to entrepreneurial agents throughout the state – at iad, the success of one creates success for everyone.”
Lee O’Brien, managing director of iad UK, added: “It’s great to be part of such an exciting time for iad. Everywhere you look, iad is making its unique mark on markets across the globe and Florida is just the latest of many steps along this journey.
“Here in the UK, we’re working hard to spread the word and show agents just how much earnings potential there is in being an iad agent, and our recent roadshow has enabled many new people to start the journey of coming on board and launching their business with us. This is going to be huge, and it’s a thrilling time to be an agent in the UK.”
