Outsourced property viewings and inspections provider Viewber is celebrating completing more than half a million appointments.
Launched at the end of 2016 by ex agent Ed Mead alongside his wife and former Savills’ head of PR Jamie Jago as well as tech entrepreneur and former Harrier pilot Marcus de Ferranti, the brand has grown at an average annual rate of 40%.
Mead said growth has been fuelled by being able to provide unique end to end services – viewing a property before taking it on, listing packs and EPCs, viewings, inspections and key handovers - as well as producing 360 tours for a fraction of the cost of a few years ago.
He added: “From an idea Jamie and I had walking around a field in 2015, it’s been gratifying to watch it grow into a nationwide business with an outstanding client base and a remarkable team running it.
"It doesn’t seem that long ago we celebrated our 100th viewing; to have now a clocked over 500,000 makes us feel very proud of everything that’s been achieved.”
Foxtons non-executive director Peter Rollings, a Viewber investor and board member, said: "I always knew Viewber was answering an issue agents had and this proves it.
"I'm impressed and delighted at the momentum the business continues to generate and very excited to see what the future holds."
