'Roomscrolling app’'reaches 75,000 users

Artificial intelligence (AI)-powered property app Jitty has surpassed 75,000 users since its launch earlier this year.

Jitty, coined the ‘Instagram for homes,’ lets users browse and discover homes online or via its mobile app.

It has slowly been rolling out its service and now covers most counties in the South of England.

The national roll-out also continues to ramp up, with Jitty now covering most counties in the South of England.

Backed by Gradient Ventures, Google’s AI-focused venture fund, Jitty uses LLM (large-language model) technologies, as well computer-vision, to read floor plans, and understand photos and descriptions of homes. Because of this, Jitty said it has the ability to cross-reference information with publicly available databases such as estate agent websites and third party services, to provide users with an exceptional level of detail.

Using the app, property-lovers can collaborate, share information with loved ones, create shortlists and leave emojis on properties they like, and understand even more about a home that is listed such as average price per sq metre in an area before making an appropriate offer, or adding it to a wish list.

Jitty will not charge estate agents fees to list properties or receive enquiries.

Graham Paterson, chief executive of Jitty, said: “We’ve been listening closely to our users to create the home-discovery experience they really want to see, and it’s an honour to be able to bring it to them.

“Many of those ‘roomscrolling’ through Jitty to browse for homes asked us for a web experience in addition to the Jitty mobile app, and we listened to their feedback.

“To reach over 75,000 users in a relatively short period of time feels incredible, and we are so grateful. We will continue to do everything we can to deliver the product features people are excited to see as we continue to roll-out across the UK.”
