Angels Media, publisher of Estate Agent Today and Letting Agent Today, has set up a new social media wing.

The aim is to help agents create brand awareness and manage their reputations through the likes of Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.

Angels boss Nat Daniels said: “We have been doing social media management for some time now, for agents who want help with their social media presence.

“Of course, there is nothing to stop agents doing it themselves, but many simply do not have the time, and we have had a lot of approaches asking for our help.

“We can do it all for them, under their brief, and we have seen an enormous growth in agents signing up to our service. Extending our business in this way was an obvious step.”

Heading up Angel’s new social media department is Chanel Miller, who has worked in marketing for 12 years and has experience of both trade and consumer sectors.

She said social media can, and should, be a crucial marketing tool for agents.

She said: “However, you do need a professional-looking, properly branded presence. No business should be satisfied with anything that has a mediocre or home-made feel to it.

“A professional social media presence is now the foundation to online marketing.”
