The challenge to find this year’s ‘Best Golfer in UK Residential Property’ has resulted in victory for Darren Loose of Martin & Co in Ringwood, Hampshire.
He won the four-month 2012 Zoopla Charity Classic Cup, which saw 260 UK residential agents and developers battling it out on golf courses across the country in the regional qualifying rounds, with just 40 securing a coveted place in the grand final at The Belfry.
This is the first year the Zoopla Charity Classic has been held and, as a result of its success, Zoopla said it will now become an annual event. Each year the tournament will support a charity selected by Zoopla.
Winners of the regional heats were Peter Morgan, Lee Goodchild, Edward Baskerville and Dean Tyrrell.
Jon Notley, Zoopla commercial director, said: “It has been a pleasure getting to know some of our members outside of the office environment.
“Great days out combined with raising funds for good causes are a winning combination, and we’re now already planning next year’s event.”
