Connells chief executive Stuart Flavell has notched up his 35th anniversary with the company.
Flavell has held a variety of senior roles within Connells, becoming chief executive of Connells Residential in 2009.
As well as having overall responsibility for over 150 residential sales branches throughout the country, he has also been instrumental in overseeing the development of Connells’ fast-growing lettings operation.
Flavell is also a Connells Group board director and involved in wider developments across the business.
He said: “I am delighted to have had the opportunity to be part of the Connells management team that has grown and developed the company to the hugely successful operation it is today.
“A business is only as successful as its people and it has been an absolute privilege to work alongside so many wonderful and talented colleagues.”
Stephen Shipperley, group executive chairman, said: “Thirty-five years’ service with a business is a major achievement in its own right.
“It is invaluable to the company to have people like Stuart on board who have experienced every sort of housing market, good and bad, and know how to respond to market changes when they happen.”

Well done Stuart. Market Harborough wouldn't be the same without you.
I worked as an 'office boy' (there were such things then) for Mr Connell in his first office (converted house) at George Street West Luton during 1947/8. 5 staff. Originally known as Connell & Silkstone. Was there when the second office opened in Harpenden - the first 'expansion'!
Should I have stayed with them!
Pitty most of the staff of Sequence only last a few weeks months! ;-)
