Little Britain star fronts awards ceremony for Spicerhaart

Comedian David Walliams hosted the annual Spicerhaart conference and awards bash.

Held in London, over 600 members of staff attended after what the company said was an “extremely strong year”.

Over 90 handmade glass trophies were presented to staff by ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ judge and Little Britain star Walliams.

The conference also provided the platform to announce the winners of the company’s year-long ‘Race to Miami’ incentive. Some 80 members of staff were selected to travel to Miami next month to stay at the luxury Delano Hotel in the heart of South Beach –watched by their colleagues thanks to the aid of a live web stream.

Meanwhile, Hunters held its first national conference and awards bash in York for 200 delegates.

The event was hosted by TV personality Dominic Littlewood. Speakers included managing director and Hunters founder Kevin Hollinrake, economist Dennis Turner, motivational business speaker Andy Hanselman and Hunters head of marketing Clea Grady.
 
Hunters, founded 20 years ago in York, now has branches spread as far south as Chichester, in cities including Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Middlesbrough and Hull, and with 30 branches throughout London and the South-East alone.

Hunters, which acquired the Bairstow Eves franchising brand from Countrywide, says it  is now the UK’s largest estate agency partnership with over 100 independently owned branches nationwide. It plans to open over 30 more branches this year.
 
Hollinrake said: “Our ambition is to become the nation’s favourite estate agency brand by 2015, and to achieve this we are investing more time, money, expertise and technology than any other estate agency in the UK. This conference is the first step of many.”
