There were 110 million visits to Rightmove on average every month in 2015.
Results for the site, which measured hits from January 1 to November 30, make it easily the most viewed property portal in the country.
They also provide an interesting breakdown of viewing habits amongst users.
Whilst the busiest month was March, the busiest day for browsing property was on Monday August 10 when users browsed over 58.6 million pages of property, a common time of year for people to try to find a new home to be settled in before Christmas.
In location terms, Bristol and Cambridge came first and second for potential buyers and renters searching for property in 2015 outside London, with almost 14m searches in these two places over the year. York made it into third place for buying and Manchester came third for rental searches.
Commuter towns Milton Keynes and Reading made the top 10 searches for both renting and buying.
Using the same data - so for the 11 months until the start of December - Rightmove says the average time for a property to sell across England and Wales was 62 days.
Places in the East of England dominate the top 10 'fastest to sell' list, as many parts of the region recorded strong growth.
“Usually January is Rightmove’s busiest month but the New Year rush stayed even longer this year, and we recorded our busiest ever month in March” says portal spokesman Sam Mitchell.

I can guarantee that most of those were by my Missus.
Does she prefer browsing on Rightmove to talking to you? :)
Well, naturally. She's only human, after all.
Impressive data. Very, very impressive data.
People like to complain about Rightmove - and I've been known to have a little moan about them from time to time - but they really do know what they're doing when it comes to attracting traffic to their sites. I may not agree with some of what they do, but I'm not so blind to be unable to appreciate the strengths they do have.
Indeed. It is most impressive.
Does smack a bit of "ooh, look at me", but if you've got stuff to shout about, shout out about it.
Sadly, Zoopla and OTM do that regardless of whether they've got something to shout out about!
