Mystery surrounds exactly when a house used in some of OnTheMarket's TV advertisements actually went up for sale.
Estate Agent Today had been told by west country agent Stags that the house - a five bedroom detached home in Woolacombe, north Devon - had been on sale since late 2014.
Now the agency says its was first marketed, with an asking price of £1m, just last month.

Maybe the vendor should consider switching to an agent on Primelocation/Zoopla (titter titter)?
Hilarious
When you're OTM, you'll be OTM forever!
What did EAT do for content before OTM came along? It seems the majority of articles concern OTM/Zoopla/Rightmove sooo tedious. Maybe there is a real story here about the Prime property market in the south-west, how local agents are doing, why this property remains unsold? But that would require a little work and it's so much easier to print the articles the PR's hand out. yawn.
Bit harsh. EAT is a news website. OTM, whatever you think of them, are big news. It also happens to be their first anniversary, which means they are bound to be taking up more column inches than usual.
You're right that there could be something much deeper here, but there also might not be. It might simply be it's too expensive. Not many people can afford £1m houses, can they?
From what I've read the prime property market in the South West isn't exactly very popular, with people critical of second home buyers and too much outside investment. Holiday homes are all well and good, but local people need homes too. If those homes are becoming overpriced because of second-home owners, then this is something the government need to have a look at. There we go, maybe there is a story in that.
I thought it was quite a light-hearted story for a Friday, but what do I know?
