Rightmove has a new board member from the end of this year - Jacqueline de Rojas, the winner of the 2015 ‘most influential woman in IT’ award and an entrant in Debrett’s 500 people of influence in social media and digital.
de Rojas currently holds a full time position as executive vice president of Northern Europe for The Sage Group and is a non-executive director of tech UK, where she serves as President.
She will be joining Rightmove as a non-executive director from December 30.
de Rojas has worked in the software, technology and digital sectors since 1984 holding executive roles with digital businesses including Citrix Systems, CA Technologies, McAfee and Business Objects.
"She is a recognised technology leader in in the UK and a passionate advocate for increased opportunities for women and diversity in the boardroom and technology workplace. We look forward to Jacqueline's support in our continuous quest to deliver innovation to our customers as they seek to reach the UK's largest home moving audience" says Scott Forbes, Rightmove's chairman, in a statement to shareholders.
