An estate agency in Cornwall has opened on the site of a former filling station and allows people to drive up, take property brochures, and go - the agency version of a drive-thru burger bar or coffee shop.
MPH Legal & Estate Agents has been set up in Millbrook by solicitor Martin Hobbs.
"It seemed wrong for the filling station to sit empty, so we looked at ways we might revitalise it and it struck me as the perfect place for an upmarket estate agency” Hobbs told the Western Evening Herald newspaper.
The pumps have been removed and the forecourt landscaped to include a traditional parking area for those wishing to stop to discuss property matters in the office, as well as the drive-thru section.
"We'll have benches out here in the summer everyone walks past here and it's already quite social with people popping in."
The agency has been formally opened by the local MP and Hobbs says it has been welcomed by the local residential and business communities.
You can see a shot of some of the forecourt on the agency’s website, here.

Thinking outside the box. Excellent use of something that would normally stay empty and remain an eyesore.
Power of Attorney and Will/Probate Services also being offered by the looks of it. Very forward thinking.
Hope it's not a car crash waiting to happen:)
A slow but steady flow of solicitors in England and Wales are now setting up estate agency departments. I think we'll be hearing more from them over the next few years. The upmarket approach contrasts well with the bog standard approach of most of the online agencies.
An interesting idea - much better than a faceless serviced office.
Maybe they'll win a grand prix award at the next ESTAs? ;)
