Hamptons International has announced that it is to launch a 'private conveyancing hub' later this year.
The initiative has been designed to offer the Countrywide-owned agency's clients with a 'personalised and bespoke conveyancing service'.
The first hub will be launched in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire and will handle the legalities of Hamptons' clients' property sales across Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire.
Operating with a head of legal and a team of property lawyers, the hub intends to offer local advice and expertise on each property transaction handled by Hamptons in the region.
Countrywide says the launch of this service is part of its 'Building our Future' strategy and that it will expand on the group's existing conveyancing services.
The hub will run out of a high street location and Countrywide says technology will enable customers to track the status of their transaction at any time.
Countrywide says the service is being rolled out with the intention of addressing and reducing the exchange to completion timescale.
The announcement confirms that conveyancing hubs for Hamptons' London and country network are expected to be opened in the future.
“The launch of a dedicated regional Private Conveyancing hub for Hamptons is a really exciting step for us. It reflects the requirements of our customers who are looking for an accessible and tailored Conveyancing facility from a highly experienced team of property lawyers,” says Nick Hughes, managing director of Hamptons International.
“We’ve already met with a number of strong candidates and welcome hearing from others interested in the opportunity to be part of a newly launched service within the Countrywide group,” he adds.

Talk about immediately alienating all other conveyancing law firms in the area, losing you every single referral those firms could have made to you.
I know my firm employs estate agents when we are acting in the sale of a property following a death of a family member, or we recommend estate agents when asked who are good in the area.
So would you not still recommend the best agents in the area? Hardly treating customers fairly
Business is Business - not Charity
I will wait to see you fall on your sword Mr Evans! Business is business BUT when you have Countrywide conveyancers in a chain, everyone groans, without exception. They are slow, do not communicate and lose paperwork regularly. The "hub", as they call it, will be online for their clients to view but someone still has to input the information!!! I say no more and wish them luck.
