Franchise agency Keller Williams has made new appointments as it follows through its long-term plan to epand to between 30 and 40 branches in the next five to seven years.
Darryl Jenkins, who joined Keller Williams UK last January to work in its ‘market centre’ in London’s Victoria, has taken on the more senior role of UK regional operating principal, charged with leading expansion plans.
Keller Williams is a US-originated agency currently with three ‘market centre’ offices in the UK; last year, in an interview with Estate Agent Today, its UK chairman Donald Morris aimed to get up to 40 offices by 2022.

100 Agents - 300 Properties = Each agent on average just 3 properties ...... Does not sound like a franchise i would like to get involved with.
Yikes- it boasts those figures like they are good but those are appalling. 100 agents with 300 properties- what on earth do they do all day? Properties are also all over the UK with many at the low end of the market generating small fees. For an agent that brags being the biggest in the world (an American bragging in a global scale- whatever next) these are some very embarassing figures- they must be losing a fortune at the moment.
Best thing Yank models could bring would be the MLS that opens access to more local stock. MLS is the thing thats built all the big US brands.
No accounts filed yet- should be soon. Think it will make some very painful reading! Reading about KW made me think about 'Move 51 North' the North London letting agency set up by Haringey Council is taking North London by storm. After about a year's trading it currently has a whopping TWO rental properties on its books- both of which are let. Maybe being an agent isnt as easy as everyone thinks it is!?
