EweMove is this week hosting a webinar in a bid to win recruits to its hybrid model from agents who may have been converted to a new business model over the Coronavirus lockdown period.
“When we launched in 2013, we were mocked and derided as being back bedroom boys and girls because we believed in the hybrid model of agency. The thinking from our critics was that because our hybrid model meant our franchisees didn’t have to rely on a High Street office, they weren’t bona fide agents” explains EweMove managing director Nick Neill.
“We have successful franchisees who work from home, serviced offices and High Street locations. It’s the personality and drive, not the office setting that makes an agent successful. Because guess what? We’re all back bedroom boys and girls now under lockdown, aren’t we?” he adds.

I’ve been looking at properties to purchase in North Devon and the quality and presentation of Ewemoves listings are standout. Best of luck with the webinar!
Thanks Mark, that's great feedback to hear and our listings are just one aspect we strive to make stand-out every time, so glad you noticed! Cheers. Nick
'We’re all back bedroom boys and girls now under lockdown, aren’t we?' Am i the only one who finds this statement crass.
Morning Matthew - the context of the statement is one of general observation, in that the lock-down has leveled the operational nature of our businesses, as opposed to high streets, offices, working from home etc. It's certainly not an insensitive statement by any means.
