Zoopla Property Group says it has recorded a 61 per cent leap in appraisal leads in February compared to the same month last year.
It claims to have generated over 30,000 instruction opportunities last month alone.
General traffic to ZPG's Zoopla and PrimeLocation sites was up 9.0 per cent compared to February 2015, with over 50m visits during the month.
Data from independent internet usage monitor Hitwise, released by Zoopla, suggests its audience "remains approximately 10 times larger than that of OnTheMarket one year after its launch."
However, the tussle for agents to join the portals continues apace.
OnTheMarket has announced that a seven-branch Hampshire firm, Jeffries Estate and Letting Agents, has dropped Zoopla and joined the new portal. An OTM statement claims Jeffries "is due to imminently expand with extra branches."
Earlier this week we reported that OnTheMarket had launched in Northern Ireland, a market dominated by PropertyPal.com, PropertyNews.com and Zoopla, while yesterday the three-branch Sheffield agency Staves revealed that it was leaving OnTheMarket and returning to Zoopla.

Lose three at £300 and gain 7 at £50. Doesn't take a genius to work out where that one ends!
I hear that OTM are expanding into Syria next.
Dear Steve. It's your kind of short term thinking that got us into Syria, etc etc. Yes, it's £50 for one year BUT next year and all the other years are full price. OTM are in it for the long haul.
Dear Hafsid, They need to be.
